In this week, children will learn about a variety of Japanese summer festivals and make items that people use in the summer festival. Children will also learn to dance Bon Odori (Bon dance)

Description

— Children born in 2014, 2015, and 2016 —

The Aozora Summer Camp is a fun-filled program designed to get the best out of the magical warm days of summer. The children enjoy many exciting activities based on different weekly themes. During the summer, the program is held in Japanese only and many of the themes are specifically chosen to deepen the children’s connection to Japan and Japanese culture. 

あおぞらサマーキャンプは、７月と８月の夏休みの間、子どもたちが日本語のシャワーをたっぷりと浴びて、元気いっぱいに夏を楽しむことを目的としたプログラムです。 夏ならではアクティビティを、週ごとのテーマにそって完全に日本語で行います。テーマは全て日本文化に関係する内容ですので、日本に行かずとも、日本のことをたくさん学ぶ事ができます。

Lunch will be served daily and is included in the camp fee.  Snack will be served during extended care time and is included in the fee.
