Each level is consisted with 8 classes and we will focus on the language itself (grammar/pronunciation) as well as the cultural topics. In this weekly course, we will use the texbook Genki 1, but also learn ‘real’ Japanese outside of the book. Language learning can be fun! Let’s relax and have a great time with learning Japanese!
Level 105 is our first intermediate class and will cover Language and Culture topics, including Japanese Traditional Culture, Kabuki, Writing Diary, Public Transportation in Japan, and The Foltake: Kasajizo. The grammar topics will include: Past Tense Short Forms; Qualifying Nouns with Verbs and Adjectives; Mada 〜 teimasen; 〜 kara; Colors; Kanji; Comparison between Two Items; Comparison among Three or More Items; Adjective/ Noun + no; 〜 tsumorida; Adjective + naru; Dokokani/ Dokonimo; Particle ‘de’.
Pre-requisite: Must be comfortable identifying all Hiragana and Katakana.
