Description

Each level is consisted with 8 classes and we will focus on the language itself (grammar/pronunciation) as well as the cultural topics. In this weekly course, we will use the texbook Genki 1, but also learn ‘real’ Japanese outside of the book. Language learning can be fun! Let’s relax and have a great time with learning Japanese!

 

At the 101 level, we will cover the following cultural topics:

  • Introduction of Language & Culture

  • Japanese Names

  • Greetings and Bowing

  • Japanese Currency

And the following grammar language topics:

  • X wa Y desu

  • Question Sentences

  • Noun1 no Noun2

  • Numbers: Time/ Age

  • Classroom Language

  • Hiragana (recognition/reading)

  • Kore/Sore/Are/Dore

  • Kono/Sono/Ano/Dono
  • Koko/Soko/Asoko/Doko
  • Dareno Noun
  • Noun janaidesu
  • Katakana (recognition/reading)
